The Smithfield Gallery is a dynamic alternative venue suitable for a range of events from private parties, corporate workshops, product launches, christenings, wedding receptions, or as a film location. The gallery acts as an enlightening cultural setting with professionally curated, modern or contemporary art exhibitions present in the space. Comfortably fitting 100 people standing up and 50 people sitting down for dinner, this versatile space constructs a refreshing and intimate ambience unparalleled to any other in the area.

Hire rates

£1,200 +VAT per day for event hire from 10am – 6pm
£1,000 +VAT evening hire from 6 – 11pm
The gallery is also available for shorter terms including breakfast and lunches.

Discounts may be available to charitable organisations and educational establishments.

Services

In addition to our stylish venue, The Smithfield Gallery includes the services of our premier staff. We offer the assistance of experienced Gallery or Hires Managers to aid with the execution of your event.

Telephone, wireless broadband, faxing, photocopying and scanning services are available to our clients as is the use of a mobile plasma screen/DVD player. The gallery comes equipped with two tables with linens, tea & coffee amenities, and provides a laundry service.

Smithfield Gallery utilises a range of preferred suppliers to suitably tailor your experience. We are happy to provide the details for a number of additional first-rate services to make your event or exhibition bespoke in every detail.
