Were Marilyn still alive today, she would be celebrating her 80th birthday and the allure and fascination we have with Marilyn is as strong now as it was before her death in 1962. Her
apparent vulnerability and innocence, in combination with an innate sensuality, has endeared her to the global consciousness. She dominated the age of movie stars to become, without question, the most famous woman of the 20th Century.
This compelling body of work spans Marilyn's career, highlighting three different periods, with original signed works and prints. The exhibition includes rare prints from the famous "Last Sitting" series by legendary fashion photographer Bert Stern. Also included are original works by George Barris, Lazlo Willinger and Milton Green.
Many images have not been viewed by the public for over a generation and some have never been seen before, such as Kashio Aoki's photos of Marilyn and Joe DiMaggio.
All the works exhibited are available for sale.
