You may have heard of the cold storage before, they are becoming an increasingly popular method of industrial storage. They come in various sizes and can be used for various applications. A slightly different type is freeze or coldrooms.
Cold Storage rooms are refrigerated containers with variable temperature control, they usually have the temperature ranging from -15 degrees to 75 degrees (Fahrenheit). They are quite flexible and can be placed outside or inside at the height of docking or on the ground. They provide an environmentally friendly refrigerant (ozone safe).
The large size containers usually have a strong hard-wearing floor, the floor is able to withstand the weight of a forklift truck which makes them great for industrial purposes. Due to the nature of their cooling, cold storage units are most suitable for applications and industries including fast-food chains, pharmaceutical manufacturers, supermarkets, catering and food processing.
Not only the container available as a free-standing unit but the cold store can also be provided as a trailer, the trailer is very portable and can be placed almost anywhere. They come with a tow bar attached, and because of their mobility, they can be pulled by virtually any vehicle with the help of a tow bar.
